Michiel Tellier, Plastic surgeon
Plastic surgeon Michiel Tellier, born in 1961 and father of 4 daughters and 2 sons, has been working at The Isala Clinic. When he came into contact with the plastic surgeon as a young boy, he was convinced of his later career choice. Michiel has a strong background in reconstructive surgery. In particular, breast reconstruction, hand surgery, cleft and congenital abnormalities belong to his treatment area. In addition, he specialised in the cosmetic surgery of face, neck and body.
Michiel is a member of the Board of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Surgery and has extensive experience in the restoration of the most intricate reconstructive surgery with a variety of physical trauma or abnormalities.
His interest in the field of Plastic Surgery stems forth from his childhood when he personally had experience with a Plastic Surgeon who helped him after a trauma during his sport event. It was at that time he knew he wanted to help others in a similar way and created his interest and passion in Aesthetic surgery. His knowledge, experience, technique and keen eye for the most beautiful result and best reconstruction is a benefit in the world of cosmetic surgery. To help people be happier and more satisfied with their own body image.
Michiel knows how to translate the wishes of the patient in the most subtle way to pure beauty, by listening and to help achieve their surgical goals. His extensive background in reconstructive surgery shows in the difference in results, and helps patients to obtain more natural results with longer lasting effect.
It’s an honor for us to be able to work together with such a qualified surgeon and be able to offer our clients a time for a private consult, injectables or fillers. Surgical procedures will be done on an outpatient basis at separate surgical suites of Isala hospital.

Dr. Stephanie Smith, MBBCh, BsC
Dr. Smith trained at Cardiff University, to obtain both a BSc Hons in Biomedical Sciences and MBBCh in Medicine and Surgery. Alongside her work in Aesthetics, she works as a doctor in the National Health Service. Dr. Smith trained in aesthetic medicine at The Royal Society of Medicine, London.
As a keen artist, she has a flare for aesthetic medicine, combining delicate illustration skills with the precision and accuracy of a physician.

Doctor Robert Schoemacher, medical doctor cosmetic medicine
Drs. Robert Schoemacher is the most leading physician in the area of cosmetic procedures in The Netherlands. With 30 years experience is he the specialist in the area of injectables (Botox and fillers). Doctor Schoemacher (BIG registration number 29023753101) studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam, where he graduated in 1987.
His residency was Assistant in Medicine with Surgery as his specialty in the “Onze Lieve Vrouwen Gasthuis and in the Spaarne Hospital.
From 1989 to 2009 he was Physician/Adminstrator of the Medical Centre in Scheveningen. Simultaneously during 2002-2009 he was Physician/Medical Director of the Doctor Schoemacker Clinic. From 2009 to 2012 he was Physician/Director of PR at the Bergman Clinic.
Since 2013 he works at multiple locations in the province of North-Holland, South-Holland, Utrecht, Flevoland, Noord-Brabant and Gelderland.
Schoemacher was active as Chairman of the Dutch Society for Private Clinics from 1996 to 2001. After this he was 6 years in charge of (Managing Member) the ZKN (Independent Clinics of The Netherlands) for the branche of cosmetic surgery. In addition to his work as a Cosmetic Physician, primarily focussing on injectables, Dr. Schoemacher has been active in other areas. As such is he the author of “Schoonheid zit van buiten” (Beauty is on the outside), 1998 and “Als je haar maar goed zit” (as long as your hair is good), 2003. He wass co-author of the Winkler Prince Medicine Encyclopedia (2001) and of the book “Perfect Age” 2006.
Dr. Schoemacher is mainly know for his TV exposure during the last 30 years for all broadcasters in the system. From 1990 he contributed to a variety of TV-programmes and own TV series, under which: Make Me Beautiful, 2003/2004 (Net 5) and “Naar de Kliniek”, 2008/2009 (RTL8).
Dr. Schoemacher works in The Netherlands, but his residence is in Spain, where he is a member of the Society of Colegio de Medicos de Malaga.
Mr Serryth Colbert, Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Colbert’s special clinical interests include cosmetic facial plastic surgery, facial deformity surgery and skin cancer surgery.
Dr. Colbert qualified in medicine at the National University of Ireland in Galway and straight afterwards he qualified in dentistry at University College Cork in Ireland. He completed his Basic Surgical Training in the Severn Deanery and Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Training in the Wessex Deanery. He completed the National Training Interface Fellowship before commencing his position as Consultant in OMFS at RUH. Mr Colbert completed international fellowships in facial deformity at Bruges, Belgium and in advanced rhinoplasty surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He published numerous papers and chapters in peer review journals and world leading Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery international textbooks and presented extensively worldwide receiving national awards for his research. He is active in multiple charities and has participated in numerous surgical charity workshops in developing countries.
He was an international oarsman and won a Commonwealth Gold Medal amongst many other titles. He is still active in rowing and won gold at the World Rowing Masters Championships in Copenhagen for Bath recently and gold at the Henley Masters Royal Regatta last year.
